I am a scholar that specialises in digital narratives. I have more than 25 years of experience in teaching and before I was a television producer.

I mentor creative projects, organise ideation labs and love seeing great ideas come to fruition. I also do my own creative projects when I have time.

I am a narrative and creative coach for both individuals and teams. I use storytelling, deep listening and purpose to align people with their projects and goals.

My story
I moved to the UK over 30 years ago to work in television production, and I fell in love with the craft of making stories. However, I soon discovered that editing other people’s voices often disempowered them, and the rigid TV format limited my narratives to a single ending. That just didn’t align with my view of the world, so I decided to make a change.
I pursued an MA in Multimedia, embracing the web's potential for diverse perspectives and open-ended stories. This better matched my "what if" attitude to life, as I constantly see multiple possibilities. I went on to complete a PhD on “interactive documentaries”, which shaped my identity as an academic and researcher.
But if stories can change the world, they can change us too, right? This belief inspired me to become a coach, blending my passion for storytelling and meaningful change into my practice.
The scholar in me
As an academic, I specialise in interactive and immersive factual narratives at UCL.
I teach, research, write and give public talks.
What fascinates me is how non-linearity and digital storytelling can open new ways to understand multiple realities. These digital experiences can empower us to actively change ourselves and the world. I focus on impact, purpose and alignment between intention and realisation of our media stories.
The mentor in me
I advise and mentor creative projects and have been invited to Labs and Festivals such as Doc/Fest (UK), IDFA (NL), CHP-Lab (DK), Art House (Po), iDOW (CH) and Mediamorfosis (CL).
Between 2015 and 2018 I designed and led IF Lab, a European workshop, aimed at digital content creators. The WHAT IF IT methodology of ideation was one of the outputs of our experimentation.
The coach in me
As a coach, I use storytelling and system theory to unlock your inner potential. We constantly have multiple-voices in our heads (or teams) and often feel overwhelmed by them. What we do not realise is that if we learn to listen to them and embrace their hidden wisdom, we already have the solutions we need! My role is to bring this clarity to your awareness.
The rest of me
When I have time I like to explore.
This might mean connecting with people, expanding through culture, get lost in a city, walk in nature or travel the world. Expansion for me also means doing yoga, listening to music and dancing tango. I am a social person, endlessly curious and in constant awe of life, people and stories.
Whether you are contacting me to facilitate your personal changes, your team creativity or to ideate a narrative project about an issue you deeply care about, I will help you to become the author of your choices. Together we will work on unpacking the narratives that currently frame your vision and current reality, imagine alternatives and move towards a future that fits with your values and goals.
